Playtime
Over the weekend were able to spend time with our friends the Gilfillans. Aaden and Finn are only a few months a part and Addison is 3. It was great to see how the three of them interacted and played together. Both Aaden and Finn were able to show off their walking abilities.
Kristofer and I had a nice to catching up with Blake and Claire, sneaking in adult time amongst the kiddos.

Walkin'
We had a nice Saturday together as a family. Aaden got new walking shoes, so we wanted try them out today. We were able to go on a walk in between showers. He pushed his truck cart and walked a ways down our street. He's so curious, he wanted to stop at every driveway to see what was up. We convinced him to head to the park the next block over. He wasn't up for playing on the structure, just happy to watch the kids play.
Kristofer had several cake deliveries today so we headed out with him this afternoon. Aaden was great! We stopped on some errands and for dinner in between deliveries. Made for a long day in the car (over 5 hours), so it was hard for him to go to bed (even though he'd missed his afternoon nap). After a crying fit and some extra late play time, he finally went down around 10pm, yikes! Here's hoping for a sleep in tomorrow morning!

Weekend Fun
Aaden and I were able to recover from our ear infections in time for a long weekend. Nana and Papa came up from Portland to join in the fun. Highlights included Aaden taking off walking - 15 steps proceeded by falling on the ground laughing hysterically with joy. Subsequent days were filled with all sorts walking between furniture, people and just standing, squatting and standing again. People are saying that "he's walking now". I guess we're coming to terms with that, and so is Aaden. He still enjoys crawling for large scale movement, but is overjoyed to be in the walking phase of life too! So cute.
Kristofer and I were able to get away for a day of business and were thankful to have the helping hands. Papa brought his truck up to help deliver cakes, everyone helped wash the cars on Sunday and family friends joined us for dinner on Sunday evening and had lots of fun playing Wii Fit Plus and Wii Sports Resort. Unkie Jonner even was able to join us for some family fun on Monday.
We had so much fun that not many pictures were taken. Here are a few that I managed to grab...

Must be Winter
Never fails that illness hits our house this time of year. Over the past two weeks, Aaden and I both have had double ear infections Emma has been suffering from an allergic reaction to who knows what and so far Kristofer has remained unscathed (thank goodness). We're all on medication to get better, so here's hoping for good health!
In the meantime, Kristofer has baking bread like crazy and Aaden is taking 4-5 steps in a row from standing. He's also been standing on his tippy tip toes to reach non-baby items, cruising all over the house, gone down to one long nap a day (lamenting this one), and sleeping in sometimes until as late as 9:30am after having gone to bed around 8pm. Not sure if any of the previous items are here to stay...for now though, life is interesting & busy...to stay the least!
Kristofer's masterpiece Chocolate/Coffee bread (a huge hit at work...not my cup of tea)
8 earplugs in his mouth before we found him!
Monkey Boy!
A classic Aaden face, CHEESE!
One of two new toy boxes, makes old toys look interesting again!
Beggars can't be choosers!

Catching Up
Life is quickly back to the daily routine. Kristofer and I both went back to work today after 11 blissful days off together as a family. We had a great Christmas with both of our families and came home for five days at home together. Here are a few photos of the festivities. (Totally out of order)
