Baby Bump Update ~ 4

It's a BOY!!! We have a very healthy and active baby boy coming our way!! We are so excited to add another boy to the family. Aaden can't wait to be a big boy brother! Enjoy a few shots from the ultrasound from today.

Easter Sunday

We had a lovely Easter.

Saturday I was able to squeeze in some egg dying with the boys and get our family Easter baskets out. That's a lot considering I'm still under the weather!!

We were able to make it to church Sunday and then headed down to Puyallup to celebrate with Kristofer's extended family. Grandma Renee' had a lovely brunch prepared. We dined and then partook in a 30 and under Easter egg hunt. It was fun, but a lot of work for the pregnant lady! :) After Aaden woke up from his nap he had a hunt of his own, complete with Hot Wheel Easter eggs. He took his time with each egg, opening the car or eating the candy. It was really cute.

Several others picked up my camera to snap a few photos of the day. Unfortunately we got no family pictures of all of us though.

Baby Bump Update ~ 3

The camera is sitting quiet this week for a 19 week baby bump picture. Needless to say after a year (A YEAR!!) of having a completely healthy household, we succumb to a really nasty bug. Both Aaden and I contracted acute bronchitis last week and still have not been able to shake it, as a pregnant lady and a 2.5 year old, this is really hard to take care of!

Hopefully by next week we'll be back on top and have a 20 week update for you. And yes, we have an ultrasound scheduled soon and will announce in a few weeks if all goes well. In the meantime you can wager your bets {boy/girl}.

We're now headed back to bed...and hoping that Kristofer stays healthy!

Inspired

Several years ago we had family pictures taken. One of my favorites was of Aaden and I in the dahlia garden at Volunteer Park. I love the pure joy on our faces.

It turns out Aaden's Great, Great Aunt Vera was inspired by this photo too. She recently finished painting it and posted her work online! Here we are in acrylic!

Thank you Aunt Vera for a timeless capture of our happiness as mother and son! A true gift!

Baby Bump Update ~ 2

We went for our 18 week check up yesterday with our midwives and all was well with baby and Mama.

Weekend in Sunnyside

This past weekend was spent with Kristofer's grandparents in Eastern Washington. Tim & Lacey and Grandma NeeNee and Grandpa Terry also came. We had fun celebrating G'ma Sharon and G'pa Herman's birthdays and hanging out in the warm (65+ degree) weather!

A highlight for Aaden was riding on the riding lawn mower with his dad. He was unsure at first but took to it right away. Even Emma the dog enjoyed sprinting from one end of the driveway and back.
