Sweet Seventeen

Our sweet boy is seventeen months this week, such a big boy! As I've been saying, his favorite thing is going outside. We're thankful for even minor sun breaks in the day. Today he ran outside with kitchen utensils to play in the garden. Love to see his imagination working!

Showers...

This weekend was busy celebrating. The three of us spent the weekend in Puyallup showering friends and family. Saturday I helped throw a baby shower for my good friend Denee'. It was a lot of fun to see old college friends etc. The weather was beautiful and Denee's sisters and mom were great fun! The rest of the afternoon was spent hanging out at Kristofer's parents' house. We had a nice dinner, watched movies and hung out.

Today I helped Lacey (the bride-to-be) address all of her wedding invitations. Always a productive and good time! After a great brunch ala Gramma Renee' I headed off to help set up for Lacey's bridal shower. Tim's (groom-to-be) sister and mother were on hand to throw a great tea party for Lacey. She was definitely showered!! Meanwhile all of the guys went to get fitted for tuxes. A productive, fun & exhausting weekend. Here are a few highlighted photos:

A Day With Mom

I treasure every moment we spend together and lately Aaden is all about going outside. I'm looking forward to this summer as it will be so much fun to have nice days in the sun. He's discovering all sorts of new things...

A Family Tradition

This weekend we've been in Portland helping take care of my mom after her knee surgery.

PEO is a philanthropic women's organization that my great-grandma, grandma and mother were a part of.
