When Daddy is in charge...

Epic things happen...

Snow...snow and more snow

We've gotten our fair share of snow this past week. While it makes it difficult to get out of the house, Aaden enjoyed romping around in it on several different occasions.

Conductor Aaden

My mom recently sent us a YouTube video of a 3 year old boy conducting to a Beethoven's symphony in his home. Aaden really enjoyed watching it because it reminded him of a Curious George episode he recently watched where George does the same thing.

As a result, he LOVES to take my knitting needles and conduct to Beethoven's Piano Concerto #5 in E Flat. Here is demonstrating his skills with SpongeBob.

Visiting Unkie & Auntie

We got the chance today to finally see my brother & wife's new apartment. They live in a great location in Seattle. They've got a cozy mother-in-law unit that overlooks the Puget Sound and has private beach access. We went over for lunch today and a walk on the beach before the stormy weather. We had a great time taking Norman, their new dog out for a run on the beach, throwing pebbles, watching trains & planes and having tea and cookies. Thanks Jonner & Megan for a special day!

PS - a great photo place, will have to go back soon!

Wrapped a great day by snuggling in Auntie's blankey and listened to stories. Fell asleep on the car ride home, a great day!

Water play

Aaden has enjoyed playing with measuring cups and spoons lately. This morning he poured his water cup and a vase full of flowers out into the cups. Thankfully he only got his play table wet. Rather than make a big deal out of it I decided to go with the idea and put him at the sink to play. He had over an hour of fun and I was able to mop up the kitchen floor afterwards. He loved getting wet and experimenting with different sized cups and kitchen utensils.

He was so cute & happy standing at the sink like a big boy I had to snap a few photos.

A quick project

With the return of the sun today there was definitely a winter chill in the air. I realized how cold my head/ears was while out grocery shopping so when I got home I knit this ---

Klesick Family Farm - Fresh Produce

A friend got me to look into the Klesick Family Farm produce delivery products and last week we had our first delivery. Can I say how excited I was!? Aaden and I immediately dug into the box, he pulled out an orange and nearly ate it peel and all! It has been fun using different fresh, organic produce. The variety and quality has been outstanding. Can't wait for next weeks gift in a box!

If you are interested, check them out (tell them I sent you and we both will get a gift)!
