Busy Weekend

This weekend was full of activities. Aaden had his usual swim lessons on Saturday morning. This time around Dad was able to join him in the pool. It seemed like this was a fun idea at first, but as he noticed quickly Mama was not with him. This began a 10 minute spell of crying. I finally got up and left the room. He was able to calm down and join the class for the rest of the time. Phew!

Saturday afternoon we packed up with my parents in tow and headed to Puyallup for Grandma Renee's 50th birthday party. Unfortunately we got no pictures of the great event put on by Grandpa Terry and Aunt Lacey. Old family friends and family hung out and had a great time! Aaden of course was a hit. He only had one, one hour nap the whole day and was great! We spent the night and were thankful that he slept through the night no problem, even with us in the same room.

Sunday we went to church with family. It was nice to attend TCRCC (Tacoma Christian Reformed Community Church) as we hadn't been there since Aaden's baptism in January. He did great and even sat in the front row! :-) We went back to Kristofer's folks' house for lunch and naps and then headed to Terry and Kristal Mensonides' house. We got to meet their newest addition, Tate and hang out, play games and have dinner. They generously made apple pie, homemade bread and spaghetti. It was great to see them and have fun with all the little boys. Aaden and Coleson had fun playing with cars and tools.

To top it all off we got home to our CLEAN carpets, had them cleaned while we were away! Yippee!
