We just got back from a fabulous road trip to Southern California with Kristofer's parents. We took a few days to get to Visalia, CA (where Kristofer's great aunt Vera and uncle Tom & family lives). We stopped in El Dorado Hills where Kristofer's family used to live. There we visited with old family friends the Paredes family, they live in a beautiful house up in the hills. We had great fun playing with their dog Lucy and dining with their family.
On the road again, we made it to Visalia by Monday evening. Tom and Vera were very generous to have us stay in their home, they wined and dined us for nearly three days. We visited their Cattle Ranch, very impressive! Had dinner with most of their kids and some of their 15 grandkids. Played in their pool, played at the cousins' lake, that we had all to ourselves and generally just enjoyed being hot!
