Wedding Photos

Here are a few photos from the wedding, more to come as the photographers photos come in.

Rehearsal Dinner & Wedding of Jonathan & Megan

Obviously I am way behind on the blog. It has been a crazy month. One big event that happened was my younger brother getting married to the lovely Megan Crouch. Kristofer, Aaden and I were all honored to be in the bridal party. The wedding was beautiful, a real representation of the love they have for each other. Both family and friends helped the celebrate their new life together.

Here are a few photos from the rehearsal dinner.

A Boy at Play

While the weather has been dreary Aaden has taken full advantage of playing with his new toys. I've caught him playing with his trains, reading stories, playing with his trucks & planes and asking for Playdough. He's also loved taking Bubble baths and having anyone and everyone read to him.

Last week we were fortunate enough to have Grandma NeeNee' (Kristofer's mom) here over night. Aunt Lacey and Uncle Tim also came later in the week and spent the night. Aaden LOVED having all of the family around and we enjoyed having extra time with family.

Here are some pictures of our week:

Loves to "park" the cars, trains and trucks as demonstrated above

 Mom's latest victory: veggie Popsicles!

After looking at the series of pictures, I realized that Aaden loves having something in his mouth. His 2 year molars are definitely coming in. :)

{Shutterfly} Free Christmas Cards!

I'm not one to give my recommendations lightly, but I'm so excited at the opportunity to get free Christmas cards through Shutterfly. I've been a Shutterfly customer on numerous occasions. Last Christmas I gave family members calendars with their favorite pictures from the year. I've also given my husband a photo album every year on our anniversary. It has been special to reminisce our year together that way.

This year there are so many cards to pick from. I love this one, but can't decide if I love this one more. I've already picked out the family pictures we will be using, now I just have to decide on the perfect card.

Do you know what is best of all!? Any of my blogger friends out there, you have the same opportunity! Bloggers get 50 free holiday cards from Shutterfly… sign up: http://bit.ly/sfly2010.

Getting excited for the holidays, this just made my life a little easier!

Here's to a little holiday cheer!

Reformation Day

We're not big on Halloween around here so after church, we spent the day playing with our new toys. Aaden ended the day wearing his fire fighter rain coat and boots. I thought it was close enough to a costume so snapped a few pictures of the sweetness!

Loving his Playdough cook set and apron!

 Who needs pants!?

Curious George Birthday Party

Saturday we had nearly 30 family & friends over to celebrate Aaden's birthday. It was a packed house, but so much fun! We had homemade pizzas (with all of Aaden's favorite foods like olives, garbanzo beans, red peppers, feta and pepperoni...don't knock it until you've tried it)! We also had some of his favorite fruits, veggies and crackers. I made chocolate cake and cupcakes and my mom helped decorate the cake. Our decorations were all Curious George themed. My favorite being, the t-shirts I made for each of us "Curious Aaden, Curious Sarah & Curious Kristofer".

It was so much fun having all of the babies and kiddos playing together. At one point they were all in a big play pile by the stairs, it looked like little worms all on their tummies. Aaden was a trooper and shared his old and new toys with his cousins & friends. We had been practicing blowing out candles, but when the time came he was happy to stare at the flame (so we all helped out).

That evening the extended family all went out for dinner together. It was a great day. I can happily say, I was able to get the house all cleaned up and all of the new toys put away before the weekend was over. No small feat!

Thanks to all who made the party a success, Aaden is truly loved!

Sometimes Daddy was more excited to open the gifts than Aaden!

Birthday Boy!

On Aaden's birthday we made sure to do a few special things. I had him open another small gift (Curious George DVD) in the morning, followed by watching several episodes snuggled with Mama. After lunch Daddy came home (a big treat) and we all headed to our friend's house to party. We brought Thomas the Tank Engine cupcakes for the kids and watched while Aunt Lacey (also their hairdresser) cut hair. There were a few additional friends there, so it made for a festive afternoon.

After Aaden's nap we asked him what he wanted for his birthday dinner and he said "Mama, PIZZAAAAH. Dada, PIZZAAAH"! Clear as a bell! We ended up taking him to Boston's for pizza as he had a free birthday kid's meal there. He opened a few more gifts and cards while we were there and we had a hot fudge sunday for dessert.

He had a great "birrffday" day!

Greeted with Happy Birthday! Still sleepy though.
